Finally I managed to finish a usable version of Gnome 2048!! [0] There is still much work to do [1], so any help is much appreciated.

Glad to hear this! I've wanted to do something like this for a while, but never had the time, but I'll test this and work on improvements. As Michael mentioned on desktop-devel, it'd be great if you would move that into gnome git :)
